We stopped by Taco Tia in Redlands, the last remaining location of a chain founded by Glen Bell--yes, the same visionary who later created Taco Bell! It's incredible to experience a piece of local history while enjoying some fantastic food. We tried the hard-shell ground beef tacos, and they did not disappoint! Made fresh to order, they were packed with great flavor and had that perfect, satisfying crunch. The red sauce they serve alongside is a game-changer--it pairs perfectly with the tacos, no extras needed. The drive-through experience was smooth and efficient, with clear signage and a convenient parking lot. Even with a few cars ahead of us and plenty parked, the wait was quick--a true sign of a beloved local spot that delivers on quality. Overall, the tacos were excellent, and I'm already looking forward to returning to try more of their menu, especially the intriguing taco burger. If you're in the area, don't miss the chance to visit this local gem and taste a piece of history!

This place is really delicious. They still taste the same after 30 years. I recommend the Taco Burger and their hot sauce is the best.

I've eaten at Taco Tia since 1954, when Mr. Bell opened his first restaurant on old U.S. 99 in Redlands. The old Taco Tia is Cuca's. The only remaining Taco Tia is this one on Orange St. It's as good as it ever was all those years ago.

Listen is it the best no but it's far from the worst. Ground beef tacos are packed with meat and cheese and by far their best item on the menu.

A bit surprised. It's like original Taco Bell but bigger portions. Decent prices. Thought the crunchy beef taco and red burrito were decent. I'd come back again.

I believe this is one of the few Taco Tia's left in existence, so it's a must, especially if you're a fast food enjoyer and want to experience something that has its roots in Taco Bell history. The restaurant is definitely aged, but that adds to its vintage charm. Service was friendly and fast. The hamburger taco is a must since this is an uncommon menu item. It's a soft hamburger roll with seasoned ground beef, mustard, and pickles. You get the best of both the taco and hamburger world. There's shredded cabbage and diced tomatoes too. Messy, but simply delicious.

Taco Tia serves up some really good, family and budget friendly fast food. The staff are nice and the place is clean. The hard shell tacos are scrumptious and highly recommended....I like the carnitas hard shell tacos the best, along of course with a splash of the house red sauce. My guest had chicken tenders and fries, which were clearly dropped into the friar when we ordered them as they came out hotband fresh. The tenders were really good, and came with a hot sauce (like a Franks style wing sauce) and a ranch dressing. My preference is to use the house red sauce as it is really good. My other guest had a cheese quesadilla with a side of beans and rice and tbey were gobbled up. It was hard for me to not order a taco burger, but I really wanted the crunch today. The taco burgers are very good...a bit messy just like they should be...so get extra napkins when you order the taco burger!

Great food and great prices! I had the breakfast burrito and loved it! The customer service is sweet and the kids always ask for Taco Tia! Just wish they had more variety of salsas.

They used to have a place in riverside that I frequented in high school. It was super inexpensive and hearty for a broke kid. Fast forward 25 years and still same great bean and cheese burrito! I love it. They are crazy inexpensive and the hot sauce is still what I remember, gotta order fries with the burrito too. They were the first place I ever saw Mr pibb back in the day. I don't often get a soda but indeed I did. Nostalgic for sure, value amazing and great tasting food yes! Anytime I'm passing through I stop. Might have been only been 2 times in 25 years but I don't come though very often.
